Position Summary:
The Account Representative will provide quality and timely customer service to the clients of National Insurance Services for the Eastern Region. This position is based in Canonsburg, PA (Pittsburg geographical area).

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for cross selling existing accounts and service of existing accounts within the designated Eastern geographic territory.
Serve as the primary contact for groups and works with the Customer Service Manager, Inside Service Reps, Underwriting and other company resources to resolve outstanding issues.
Identifying and creating client needs for products and service.
Cross selling and/or hand off to sales of products associated with the Retirement Income Division of the company.
Maintain and update all systems databases and customer files per company guidelines. (CRM).
Keep the Eastern Regional VP and/or Sales Representative(s) fully informed of the status of all projects.
Assist the Eastern Regional VP and/or Sales Representative(s), or others, on special projects as requested.
Travel Responsibilities:
Requires travel up to 65%, including intra-state and some out of state.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or equivalent in the group insurance industry.
One+ years in a customer service, inside sales, or other similar role.
High energy, ability to develop and maintain your own schedule, able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills, and the ability to demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
Strong oral and written communication, and customer presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Experience using Microsoft Office software (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) and laptop computer.
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including word processing and spreadsheets.
Ability to travel by car, plane, or other common means of transportation.
Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver?s license and clean driving record.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor degree in a related field desired, but not mandatory. Equivalent experience in a similar role is acceptable.

Competitive salary, plus bonus based on successfully cross-selling other products.

Relocation:
Relocation package is not available. Account Rep must be in commuting distance to Canonsburg geographical area.
