About this Job:
Module is an early stage housing startup company out of Pittsburgh, PA. We believe that Pittsburgh, like many other cities across the U.S., is in dire need of new solutions for urban housing. We are striving to bring good design to a larger market as we develop our technology and begin to design homes for the next generation of homeowners. One
of our many goals is to build the first incremental house in the United States, right here in Pittsburgh. Module is part of the current cohort at AlphaLab Gear, a local startup accelerator, which gives us access to funding and resources to help get our company off the ground.

We are looking for an intern from the School of Architecture for the Spring and/or Summer term. We are looking for a commitment of 15 – 20 hours per week.

Ideally, our intern is a junior or senior architecture student who is passionate about residential architecture. A candidate should also be excited about working in the startup atmosphere.

Our intern will be responsible for producing high quality interior and exterior renders, elevations, sections, and site plans for our pilot home. Our intern will also likely be producing drawings as we continue to develop our patent pending wall system.
Intern should be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rendering Software (V-Ray, Podium, etc.), Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
