Electrical Designer - Huth Technologies LLC (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Electrical Engineer / Designer shall be responsible for planning, and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. The position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques, as well as CAD The duties of the Electrical Engineer / Designer shall include (but will not be limited to) the following: - Formulate initial and final design solutions on a project - Conceptualize plans, details, and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements -Prepare dimensional field sketches at project locations -Coordinate vendor supplied drawings and information into project drawings -Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate program of assigned engineering work - Prepare and/or modify CAD single line diagrams, equipment arrangement drawings, I/O lists and schematics, lighting drawings and grounding drawings -Prepare Bill of Materials -Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted
