Electrical Designers Job #2420 We are assisting a Pittsburgh suburban area engineering firm during their search to hire several Electrical Designers with power distribution and Autocad experience. Positions are contract to direct hire. Electrical Designers should have an understanding of one or several of the following areas: Power distribution Control / instrumentation wiring P&ID's Electrical control schematics Basic understanding of 3D software is desirable (not a requirement) QUALIFICATIONS: AutoCAD experience is required Will consider someone with around five (5) years related industrial electrical experience for one of the positions. The more senior level Electrical Designer will need 10 to 15 years. Understanding of power, control and instrumentation wiring methods and standards Embedded and exposed conduits and cable trays Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Associates Degree in Electrical Drafting or related degree plus experience. THESE POSITIONS ARE CONTRACT TO DIRECT HIRE: we are looking for qualified candidates that live within a reasonable drive of job site (per diem and relocation are not available). Positions are located about 20 minutes downtown Pittsburgh.
