Job Description:/h3:
Position Summary
The Team Leader works directly with the Account Executive (if applicable) or the Manager of the Closing Services Department and is responsible for ensuring their teams performance meets or exceeds company standards while maintaining client satisfaction. The incumbent is accountable for analyzing and distributing teams workload evenly between their team members, tracking the teams productivity as a whole, and tracking performance individually for all partners within their team. In addition, the Team Leader is also responsible for participating in the daily operations of the Closing Services Department including, but not limited to Title Clearance, Closing Disclosure Form Preparation, and Reject Resolution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:Communicate new policies and procedures to their team
:Manage work load issues within their team and propose efficiency initiatives
:Review staffing requirements within their team and justify those requirements with their Account Executive or Manager (forecast work volumes, etc.)
:Supply information to the Account Executive or Manager in regards to team members review and/or potential promotions
:Monitor and report any issues regarding company policies and procedures to management that may require counseling with the Human Resources Department
:Provide one:on:one training to the team members, as needed
:Responsible for the efficiency of their team to ensure the company achieves its goals and objectives
:Manage the teams productivity as a whole and individually for all partners within the team to ensure client/borrower satisfaction
:Address dissatisfied client issues and evaluate ways to avoid such problems going forward
:Review loss/overage rejects as well as other performance indicators to determine training needs of the team
:Assist in the following as needed:
:Facilitate training sessions
:Participate in Planning Initiatives
:Communicate with the client regarding Mortgage Connect work processes
:Attend marketing visits to clients
:Investigate client survey issues
:Provide reports/data to the client
:Provide marketing assistance
:Supply information to be discussed during client conference calls, and attend the conference calls as requested by their Account Executive or Manager
:Maintain interdepartmental relationships
:Develop partnerships with our clients
:Participate in daily operations including, but not limited to, title clearance, CDF preparation, and reject resolution
:Review and sign:off on files regarding title clearance for issuance of policy
:Reports, in conjunction with Dashboard/Notifier (the following reports are required):

:Disbursement WIP (client specific)

Qualifications
One to five years prior experience as a Closing Coordinator
High school diploma or equivalent
Practical work experience within the loan department of a lending institution
Working knowledge of real estate titles, deed preparation and closings
Strong Interpersonal skills
Proven customer service skills
Capability to mentor and coach others performance
Goal and detail orientation
Strong leadership traits
Multi:task and proven ability to self:manage when situation dictates
Proficiency with Microsoft programs and personal computer
Language Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical reports, and documentation
