We are seeking a Construction Project Manager: Architectural Glass And Metal (Glazing) to join the fastest growing aluminum and glass contractor in the PA, NJ, Del area You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
This position is accountable for the total field management of various project sizes and sales development with general contractor customers, to achieve the assigned profit objectives for each project. The Project Manager is responsible for either all phases of project contract or certain specified phases of sales development, promotion, estimating, purchasing, subletting, supervising and controlling of a several projects.

The Project Manager reports to the Vice President of Operations.
: A Project Manager must be technically oriented in all phases of commercial construction and possess the ability to proactively handle projects from the inception to completion or any portion thereof without the need for direct assistance or supervision.
:He or she must maintain close coordination and good customer relationships with the customers management personnel in order to meet project timelines and optimize profit objectives.
: Should possess a college degree or equivalent training, plus have a minimum of five (5) years of practical construction experience.
:Ability to deal effectively and professionally with other Allglass Systems field management along with owners and other professionals.
:Knowledge of aluminum storefront, strip window and curtain wall systems preferred.
:Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and understanding various construction details/conditions
:He or she is totally responsible for all performance deviations for each project plus implementation of quality assurance program, safety program and the EEO policies pertaining to the jobsite
:He or she must possess solid management skills and human relation skills plus the ability to communicate effectively.
The Project Manager has general principal accountability for, but not limited to, the following:
:Either totally handle or participate in the project development, cost estimating and final sale of various size projects.
:Be capable of assuming total field management responsibility and accountability for a large, several medium or many small size projects after the initial sale, including material and schedule management plus jobsite operations and documentation.
:Be accountable for achievement of the profit objectives at the completion of each project or projects.
:Supervise necessary general foremen and field labor force.
:Develop close working relationships with owners, architects and general contractors personnel as required to secure and/or complete the project.
:Determine and supervise manpower requirements and provide motivation to form an effective team that will contribute to the overall project success and achievement of profit objectives.
:Maintain effective labor relations and EEO relations with union labor leaders to assure continuous jobsite harmony and affirmative action program compliance.
:Implement and maintain an effective quality control program, safety program and post job review program.
:Resolve all performance problems and punch list items and be responsible for collection of all monies owed on the project.

The Project Manager has specific accountability for, but not limited to, the following:
1. Coordination between estimating, accounting, drafting, fabrication and labor force
:Provide cost breakdowns to accounting
:Provide schedule of values to accounting
:Prepare complete project schedule at award of contract
:Prepare submittal log and schedule at award of contract
:Provide/coordinate information required for timely completion of shop drawings and engineering
:Coordinate all submitta
