Solutions Design Architect III
General Summary....
The Solutions Engineer is responsible for leading all aspects of the analysis of customer requirements, designing and articulating innovative solutions, developing financial models for new solutions, and supporting process improvement initiatives and best practices implementation.

:Minimum of three years experience in Supply Chain Management and Third Party Logistics with experience in managing a E :commerce Distribution Center or E:commerce Warehouse Operation in either Forward or Reverse logistics and is aligned to the relevant business unit. Mobile device and computing experience a plus.
:Engineering Degree
:Minimum of two years prior experience in solutions design role with a focus on Ecommerce
:Bachelors degree in a related discipline; Masters Degree or related advanced degree preferred.
:Project management experiences a plus.
:An ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to problems.
:Knowledge of conveyance, automatic sortation equipment, material handling equipment, and product storage systems desirable.
:High level of competency with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Visio).
:Prior experience with WMS systems, JDA or Manhattan Associates WMS systems experience a plus.

This Position Will Be Responsible For.....
:Manages the solutions design project team to produce the completed proposal.
:Acts as the focal point for liaison with Business Development Executives on all aspects of the solution design and development of the proposal.
:Provides support to Sales for any required customer engagement activity.
:Develops designs for operational processes, workflows and supply chain network required to address requirements of large:scale, complex supply chain projects.
:Ensures applicable cost model is populated based on all relevant design outputs to support the complete and accurate costing of all solutions.
:Conducts analysis of a potential Customers facilities, operations, supply chain and associated data as part of the new business development process.
:Ensures that the proposal response is completed to meet all customer requirements which includes the response document, all supporting materials, and pricing of the strategic business solution.
:Leads the development of the Statement of Work and ensures customer requirements, service levels and integration points are clearly understood, considered in overall solution design and communicated to all relevant support functions.
:Works with Business Development Executives to develop clear and differentiating value propositions for Customer opportunities.
:Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of new business to the operations team (handoff) upon completion of new business launch : including the creation of the Customer Requirements Profile.
:Confidently makes presentations to mid:size to large audiences at executive level positions both internal and external.
:Communicates, explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus and remove obstacles to attainment of set goals.
:Ensures that all internal departments; IT, QA, Purchasing, Operations, Inventory Control, Finance, Teammate Services, Project Management, Engineering, and Maintenance are engaged on all opportunities.
