This position will act as the senior engineer for configuration, deployment, support, administration, monitoring and analysis of global telecommunications systems and infrastructure supporting voice network services, voice telecommunications systems, software, and vendor performance as it relates to communications systems/hardware and voice carrier network services. Areas of responsibility include; call center engineering and architecture management, performance monitoring and reporting, operations management with vendors (carriers and hardware/software), local and remote hardware/software installations, system support and troubleshooting, upgrades, capacity planning, project management and coordination, disaster recovery planning, and administration of dial plans and least cost routing. Will lead the development and implementation of global strategies for Telephony and Call Center Solutions. Responsible for successfully operating and maintaining MSAA?s global voice communication systems and corresponding networked services at peak efficiency with minimal disruptions to the business. Description of duties and responsibilities:Engineer and implement new telecommunications voice systems and voice network services and upgrades to NEC NEAX PBX, Cisco CUCM, Unity Voicemail, Cisco UCCX, Zeacom ACD/Contact Center, Wygant voice recording systems and services. Produce project and test plans for implementations and upgrades ensuring performance quality through testing. Participate in business continuity planning and testing.Apply knowledge of telecommunications voice technologies to identify and provide solutions for complex global business needs. Work with various business groups to understand future/growth needs and architect solutions to support the identified needs/requirements.Work with Carriers and Network teams to develop WAN/LAN/Campus network architecture to support all IP telephony/VoIP requirements leveraging QoS, CoS, and DSCP markings for optimum voice performance.Perform, but not limited to, capacity planning and reporting, operational system maintenance tasks including patching, and regulation(s) compliance to ensure maximum operational efficiency.Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve telecommunications systems alarms and problems.Develop, document, and maintain configuration standards and operating procedures for telecommunications voice systems and voice network.Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and cross:training to in:region/global resources.Provide end user support by resolving telecommunications move/add/change requests and trouble tickets within established service levels using MSAA?s service/support management tool.Proactively communicate the status, plan of action(s), and resolution(s) of issues.Monitor and report the performance of network components and take preemptive measures to minimize interruptions.Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall telecommunications network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency.Take responsibility to keep up to date with new and changing technology. Evaluate new technologies and platforms to determine whether their applicability aligns with the businessA?s needs.Identify, test, and implement innovative solutions and/or ideas to drive cost optimization.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to MSAA?s internal compliance and security policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies (ex.
