Need a new venue to exercise your creative makeup talents and keep them sharp once the Halloween season has come to an end? Well, The Rage of the Stage Players, Pittsburgh’s dark and alternative theatre company (and for whom Halloween is a lifestyle), is currently accepting submissions from interested makeup/sfx artists, to join us in our twisted little world. Rare among local theatre companies, we are associated with over-the-top, often premiering, gritty shows (horror, fantasy, dark-comedy) with elaborate costumes and makeup. We are also known for our skewed, adult-oriented adaptations of popular classics, such as our shows: Something Grimm; A Little Red; Dracula: Dragon Prince; Alice's Adventures in "Wonderland;" and our most recent crowd pleaser, Dorothy in Oz (set in a mental hospital) just to name a few. With a recent influx of new audience members and public attention, we are looking for new talent to help us expand.

If you are interested in practicing your craft in a theatrical setting, feel free to contact us at rageofthestage@yahoo.com. We would appreciate photos of your work, or links to where we can go to view it. Emphasis on fantasy makeup and/or prosthetics is a plus, but not exclusive. Please be aware that we are a not-for-profit, voluntary organization that does not offer paying positions at this time. We can, however, offer experience and letters of recommendation if desired, as well as re-imbursement for any artists’ materials used (though we do have our own personal store of makeup to draw from). 1st Annual SEXY HALLOWEEN POLE & PHOTO WORKSHOP!<br>

7:30-9:30pm.
(Approx. 2 Hour Session)

First we work the Pole at our Workshops & then it's on to sexy outfits for awesome pictures! Pictures will be taken & provided to all students attending workshop. You are also welcome to bring your own camera. Costumes, Corsets, Hats, Wigs, Shoes & Props provided or bring your own!!!
