Guitarist Seeks Working Band

posted: November 14, 2009, 04:07 PM

I'm looking for a working band - or one close to working - in need of a lead guitarist with vocal ability. Style of music is wide open. I am primarily a rock guitarist, but I include blues, jazz, country, as well as some slide, in my playing. Vocally I'm a baritone/tenor leaning towards tenor. I can definitely do backup vocals; I will do lead vocals, if needed. I have the necessary "pro quality" gear. I have a good work ethic. I am passionate about music.

I'm willing to practice as often as you want, and to play out as often as you want. I have a day job which does restricts me to weekends for out-of-town gigs.

If this sounds interesting, I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello,

I'm a solo acoustic artist that's looking for booking opportunities for private events, bars, happy hours, lounges, tiki huts, restaurants and charity and corporate events. My rates are reasonable and flexible depending on show requirements. I'm professional, fun, entertaining and very motivated to put on a great show. I can also tailor my set list to accommodate the audience. I perform covers and originals in the Americana, Blues, Modern Country, Beach and Acoustic Rock genres. Please take a listen to my demo songs and contact me if you are interested.

I'm also looking for booking / management help and possibly joining another artist to form a duo act.

Thank you

looking for latin rhythym section

posted: November 2, 2009, 01:29 PM

jeff beck -type guitar player specializing in leads and creative blues riffs looking to find some latin bass/drummers to jam with to get a feel for it.
i am part venezuellan but have always played hard rock and dirty blues so i want to branch out and play over latin beats and styles as well as perhaps some hip-hop/ rap/ funk lead improvising over noisy efx and heavily sampled grooves....driving bass and killer percussion .. (either live drums or drum machine programs).
my guitarwork includes tremelo/whammy bar dives...lots of soulful bends and ripped up frantic tempo stuff that cries out for jimi hendrix style wailing. contact : joe

Solid Creative Drummer Available

Replyjfeil04@yahoo.com

I'm a solid and expressive drummer and I'm looking for a dedicated band OR some dedicated musicians. I have over 12 years of playing experience and I play many different styles from latin, afro-cuban, and the blues, to hard rock, pop, and metal. I'm looking for a band with no big egos. Also if your more into substance abuse than playing music don't call me... I mean if you smoke some weed once in a blue moon fine but my point is this: Nothing should interfere with the band. Priorities, Priorities. I play to serve the music- not just myself. I have contacts that play various instruments as well as "promo" people that could help really get things off the ground. I'm very serious about music- it is my life. However, I don't take myself too seriously though... I'm laid back and motivated and I laugh at myself. So if your a musician, call me and we can jam with some other people I know. If you're a band I'd love to hear your music and perhaps audition. Thank you. jfeil04@yahoo.com 412-377-3945 Jim
