Group located in Cranberry is currently seeking a Drummer that has great time, and has finesse to pull off not only rock tunes, but fusion tunes. Looking for someone who can get together on a steady basis once a week for some writing and recording. I have a fully equipped studio in which I'd like to jam on some ideas, record them, and maybe ad a few people later on and do some gigs. I have a fully loaded home studio. Just looking for the right chemistry.

NOT looking for a "Ringo Star" style drummer or a "boom boom bash" 4/4 guy. Just like the ad says: "Creative" drummer. A strong proficiency in odd times is a must as well as an ability to play to a click.

I'm shooting for a dark, haunting, technical, and mature sound.

Think the 5 man acoustical jam from Tesla. I am looking to start a 4 or 5 piece acoustical group. Positions will be : lead guitar, rhythm guitar(2), bass,possible a second lead to make 5 people. Everyone must be able to carry a tune singing. One of us needs to be the lead singer. Sure as &^%$* won't be me. A bit about me. I graduated from WVU in the school of music in '95. I am a drummer by trade, but love the guitar as well. I see this group being one of those groups that practice once a week and just enjoy life and gigs. The music i hear is playing is rock and pop... covers.... and maybe some original arrangements of covers....originals will be secondary to the cover tunes. I'm a solid and expressive drummer and I'm looking for a dedicated band OR some dedicated musicians. I have over 12 years of playing experience and I play many different styles from latin, afro-cuban, and the blues, to hard rock, pop, and metal. I'm looking for a band with no big egos. Also if your more into substance abuse than playing music don't call me... I mean if you smoke some weed once in a blue moon fine but my point is this: Nothing should interfere with the band. Priorities, Priorities. I play to serve the music- not just myself. I have contacts that play various instruments as well as "promo" people that could help really get things off the ground. We are a guitarist/singer and a solid expressive drummer from the south hills of pittsburgh. We need a talented bassist to complete a rock trio. We are dedicated musicians who take our music very seriously (but not too seriously). This means that we are looking to learn covers, write originals, and eventually write an album, promote and tour. Music is our life. So come laugh with us as we jam and begin to work on the arrangements of new songs and covers. If its fun and exciting then we are up for it. However, we need to be clear about a couple of things. We don't want any big egos or people who are more interested in drugs/drinking/pussy/whatever else... than MUSIC. We are here to serve the music and make an earnest attempt at doing this because it is our passion and hopefully one day our career. Our music has been accurately pigholed as "progressive" rock but we are open to all styles. We believe that true progressive rock implies the word in itself --progress... It is the "style" of nothing in particular. Just some guys venting their frustrations and fantasies in a dark basement that is a shelter from the world.
