Classic Rock / New Wave cover band in Edgewood looking to add keys. We're looking for someone to add electric piano, organ & 80's-style synths. Ideally you'll be adding backup vocals. We trade lead vocals around, so there's opportunity to sing lead as well. We're just rebuilding our band member lineup (2 guitars, bass & drums) and the setlist is pretty flexible, so it's a great time to join.
We're in this for fun. We all have day jobs and are looking to play live in the Pittsburgh area. Not interested in travel / touring. You must be dependable, have decent gear, willing to learn material and be prepared for rehearsal - no drugs. We rehearse once a week - usually Monday nights from 7pm to 10pm in Edgewood - and more frequently as gigs approach and schedules allow. Our age range is 30's to 50's, though we don't care how old you are if you don't care how old we are. • Location: Edgewood - East PGH

Looking for a keyboard player able to gig 5-10 times per month for Clubs, Parties, Casino's, Corporate Events, etc. Good opportunity. Playing everything from Motown to R&R, and current hits. Age range 30's - 50's though doesn't really matter. Vocals a plus but not a deal breaker. Must be easy to get along with and dependable. Good PA, etc. Only need personal equipment. Based in West/Airport/Beaver County area. Contact to find out more and maybe setup tryout.

Well, it's time to get rid of on of my vintage synths.
Why? Smaller house, and the fact I've recently purchased a Yamaha KX8 controller and I'm starting to use rack mount units and PC's instead. The unit is in fair condition, tonally it is great. The one issue it has is the fact that the membrane buttons do not work until the unit warms up for about 5 minutes - after that, no major issues. The keyboard itself works fine, the displays are good also, and the unit is fairly clean. Due to this I am accepting offers on the unit - best offer taken. I am near the Pittsburgh area, so pickup is preferred, or possible delivery negotiable. Payment is accepted in cash, possibly PayPal is necessary. I have owned this unit for the last 12 years, it is one of my favorites ... but time to move on. The following link gives you details on the unit, plus values (which I am more than willing to go under): Vintage Synth Explorer: http://www.vintagesynth.com/akai/ax80.php This link also include MP3 samples of the sounds • Location: Pittsburgh
